Life Drawing: Explore the Human Figure
Adult Course | Registration opens 11/4/2025 10:00 AM MDT
Through demonstration from the instructor, students will learn basic understanding of human proportion, gesture, value and strategies for successful drawing. Students will get help and feedback from the instructor while they do their own drawings from a live model.
Soft Vine or Willow Charcoal Sticks;
Kneaded Eraser;
Newsprint or Bond;
Drawing Board:
1 Sheet of Charcoal Paper per Class;
Fixative (not to be used in class)

Mitch Caster worked as an illustrator and courtroom artist for 9News for many years. His oil paintings – found in numerous private collections around the world, and galleries around the country – have been nationally recognized. He is an award-winning artist, and Signature Member of Oil Painters of America, National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society, and American Society of Marine Artists. He recently received an Award of Merit at the 2022 Colorado Governor’s Art Show and Sale.
