Quana Madison
Quána Madison is an African American, queer, multidisciplinary artist with disabilities, a healing arts workshop-facilitator, a well-being advocate, and an art museum professional. She dived into the world of expressive arts and research-based wellness topics to support her holistic well-being journey, after a near-death experience after cancer previvor treatments, and the sudden onset of life-changing chronic illnesses. Quána has lived with chronic pain since childhood. She collaborates as a speaker, advocate, community leader, patient partner, and Lived Experience expert with the National Pain Advocacy Center, the National Institutes of Health - HEAL Initiative, the United States Association for the Study of Pain, the North American Pain School, and the Quebec Pain Network. As an artist and wellbeing facilitator, she collaborates with recovery organizations, community non-profits, research institutions, and corporate global leadership teams. She strives to inspire, educate, empower, and uplift people through her voice, expressive art, fashion, workshops, and advocacy.
A graduate of New York University and Colorado College, Quána holds an MA in Education and a BA in Philosophy.
