Drawing Human Anatomy for Absolute Beginner Artists
Adult Course | Registration opens 11/4/2025 10:00 AM MDT
Learning to draw the human form is an extremely daunting task if you are a new artist. While it takes years and hundreds of hours to feel at ease drawing the human form, having in-person instruction can be a great place to start. This is a one-day drawing Anatomy class for absolute beginner artists. No drawing experience required, and all materials will be provided. The class will explore the human body through layers and sections. The skeletal structure, muscle structure, and contours of the body will be explored in the Head/Neck, Torso, and Limbs respectfully. By the end of class, you will have a basic understanding of how all the Anatomy pieces fit together and why the outward appearance of the human figure looks the way it does. I cannot grantee that you will be figure drawing Wizz, but additional resources will be given at the end of class and hopefully you leave class with a sense of confidence to continue your anatomy journey.
- A personal sketchbook with drawing materials is encouraged but not required.
