A Simple Approach to Painting
Adult Course | Registration opens 11/4/2025 10:00 AM MDT
This class will teach the student how to see the subject in a simple way and then translate that into their painting. I will teach students how to begin their painting by placing the main shapes, then adding light and shadow and color. Finally, students will complete their painting with details.
- Students choose oil or acrylics
OIL Paint Colors: RED, YELLOW, BLUE, GREEN, WHITE AND BROWN
Bottle of alkid
Paint thinner and a jar big enough for cleaning brushes
ACRYLICS Paint Colors: RED, YELLOW, BLUE, GREEN, WHITE and BROWN
Jar for water big enough for cleaning brushes.
Several brushes in large to small sizes.
Pad of palette paper.
Roll of paper towels.
Stretched 20’x24” canvas.
Bring an apron or large painting shirt to keep your clothes clean.
