Known for its influences in Illustration, Cartooning, and Manga, Alcohol markers are a versatile art medium that comes with its own set of unique rules. This one-day class will provide the basics of using Alcohol markers including how to layer, shade, color mix, and be used alongside other media such as watercolor and ink. We will also explore how to pick a brand and how take care of your markers, so they last.
Your supplies fee covers a set of COPIC Alcohol Marker Set (24pcs), a Ohuhu Alcohol Marker Set (24pcs) and a pad of marker paper. All supplies will be ordered and brought in by the instructor on the day of class. Not only do you not have to worry about getting markers, but all the markers/paper is yours to take home at the end of class!
Feel free to bring in any Alcohol markers you already own, please just make sure they are alcohol based. You are also welcome to bring personal sketchbooks, pens, watercolor, brushes, and other drawing media you enjoy using. Don't have any of that stuff? No worries, everything will be provided!
