Teaching innovative is academic (fundamentals of classical realism) methods of paintings and reviving height craftsmanship standards, all derived from the essence of 18th century and Renaissance. In this class, one can learn academic drawing/painting following the footsteps of the old master, using the technological advancement in the science of the art and benefiting from the Contemporary schools experiments, styles, and points of strength. From beginner to master (ages 16 & above) talented or not, anyone can learn how to draw and paint when working the right way.

Ali Ghassan
Born in Iraq, Ali Ghassan Al-Zobaede is a classically trained painter. He was an instructor at Babel University and Al-Koufa University in Iraq. He is the co-founder of the 'Free Atelier Group.' Ali has worked with theatre companies in Iraq to design and build set designs. Ali teaches private lessons in painting and drawing. At ASLD, he teaches workshops in sculpture, painting and drawing.
