Have you ever wondered how to carve and tool leather? Join us for a fun evening where we will create a custom, stamped leather coaster, bracelet, or other small item. You can bring in a 4” round design, sketch a design in class, or use one of the templates provided.
You will learn how to case the leather, transfer your design, cut with a swivel knife, and use tools such as lifters, bevels, and backgrounding stamps to create any design you desire! Once your carving is complete, you will learn to finish the edges, dye your creation, and add a protective coating. An educational overview of types of leather, leather tools, and methods of finishing your products will be provided.
