Narrative Collage

A Collage is like making a puzzle, but you get to decide what the pieces are and how they fit together. Communicating a story or memory through images, colors, and placement is one of the many advantages of collage. This class will focus on compositional strategies to effectively tell a story, as well as basic collage techniques and materials, including cutting tips, glues, papers.
- All materials are furnished, however students may want to bring personal memorabilia like letters, pictures, or decorative papers that they have on hand.
Deb Rosenbaum
A Denver Native, Deb Rosenbaum is a professional artist with extensive art instruction experience including fifteen years as Visual Arts Director at Denver School of the Arts. Her humorous and quirky work in collage, printmaking, and sculpture reflects her passion for story telling and collecting, combining disparate materials. She currently serves as a Board member and faculty at the Art Students League of Denver.
