Youth Class | Registration opens 2/3/2026 10:00 AM MST
A space to create and experiment with sewing (machine and hand sewing). This is a largely unstructured time to learn more about sewing, machine techniques, how to create your own ideas and following patterns. This is a space for those who want more experience and guidance around sewing and who may not have materials at home. Come explore, create, and bring your ideas to life!
- *NOTE: This class will be held 3 Thursdays every other week on 3/5, 3/19, & 4/2.
- All supplies provided.
Bring projects, ideas, patterns or specific materials if you are wanting to use them.
Emerson Alexander
Emerson Alexander is a printmaker, fiber lover and visual artist from Denver, Colorado. She received her BFA from from the Maryland Institute College of Art in May 2022; graduating Magna Cum Laude in printmaking and humanities with minors in illustration and book arts.
Her work is largely filled with references to an obsession with printed ephemera and bygone eras. She frequently blends history and accessibility into her classes, with the goal of exposing young artists to many different mediums and their connection to the world around them.
