Art of the Book: A collaboration between Lighthouse Writers Workshop and Art Students League of Denver
Adult Class | Registration opens 2/3/2026 10:00 AM MST
In celebration of all things book-related and their mutual admiration for writing and artist books, poet Michael Henry and book artist Rachel Basye will lead participants through several writing prompts to produce several short works, which will then be integrated into a simple, handmade book form. Consider the final product a work of art, a chapbook, a one-of-one.
This class will be held at Art Students League of Denver, 200 Grant St., Denver, CO 80203
No experience in writing or book arts is necessary to participate.
The workshop will include a mixture of prose and poetry writing exercises and a variety of one page and accordion book forms.
- All supplies will be provided.
