Sampler | Clay Standies
Sampler | Available
In this class, we will make small handbuilt sculptures using slabs and a tab system that will let you stand your sculptures upright. This is a great chance to flex your drawing and engineering skills (or not!). Everyone will leave with at least one sculpture if not more. Sculptures will be decorated in class. The ASLD clay team will fire your work and apply a clear glaze to one side of your piece.
- This is an intergenerational class for ages 10+
Adults registering for this class must be registering as a parent/guardian with one or more children.
Children aged 13 and younger must be registered with a parent/guardian.
- All supplies will be provided
Ren Cannon
Ren (they/them) is an artist based in Denver, CO. They have a BFA in Fibers and Drawing from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins although they primarily work as a printmaker and potter right now. They think that the best way to learn is to experiment, make mistakes, and gain some knowledge rather than seeking perfection. When not in the studio, Ren likes to ride bikes, pet dogs, learn about science and nature, and try new things.
