I'm a Texas native, but I've loved living in Colorado for about five years now with my husband, teenage daughter, a Boston Terrier, a Pug, and our lovely cat.  I studied Graphic Design and Studio Art at Sam Houston State University. I became a certified teacher a few years later and have taught students of all ages a variety of subjects for the past 15 years. I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and I love currently teaching art at the middle school level. My artistic background and interests include digital arts, ceramics, drawing, and painting.
