Ages 14-17 | All About Oils

In this camp, students will dive into the fundamentals of oil painting while building confidence and creativity. We’ll explore how to break down light and shadow to create strong form, understand color mixing, and uncover the key elements that make a painting successful.
Students will also have the freedom to choose subjects that matter to them—whether it’s a personal memory, a favorite object, or something entirely from their imagination. The goal is to guide each young artist in developing their own voice while strengthening their technical skills.
The first class will be a quick introduction to oil paints and brushes, how to clean and take care of them, followed by a very short demo.
