Using embroidery techniques on felt and other fabrics, campers will be able to create small creatures, ornaments, and embellished knick knacks. Starting the first day of class, campers will learn various stitching, beading, and appliqué methods to bring their creations to life!
During this camp, we will explore various artists and craftspeople who use this medium in their art making to inspire and inform our own designs and inventions. We will also dive into the history of embroidery and its use and function in various communities and cultures.
