Pen and Watercolor Architecture: Learning Perspective

Adult Class | Registration opens 5/5/2026 9:00 AM MST

This class is designed to teach you all about pen and watercolor techniques, though behind the curtain, this class is all about perspective.
Perspective is a tricky concept, but throughout the six weeks I hope to lift the veil and help you to better understand perspective!

  • No experience needed, but some experience with watercolor helpful.
  • Micron Pens (.3, .5, .8), or other archival pen.
    Small and/or Medium watercolor brushes
Watercolors (opaque). Be sure that your color pallet is at least 12 colors. The most important ones are ultramarine, phthalo blue, lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, burnt sienna, burnt umber, cadmium red, and crimson. I sometimes will use black, as well as a tube of white gouache.
You can use a dry pallet or tube watercolors.
Mixed Media or watercolor sketchbook (I recommend 9x12)
    Towels and water cups provided.
