This classes offers a hands-on introduction to gouache painting, with a special focus on ?landscape painting. Participants will learn the fundamentals of gouache, including color ?mixing, layering, opacity control, and blending techniques, while applying these skills to paint ?skies, trees, water, and other natural scenery.?
The workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate artists who want to combine technical ?skills with creative expression, enabling them to confidently capture outdoor landscapes using ?gouache.?
- Students registering for this class should have experience in drawing fundamentals.

Ali Ghassan
Born in Iraq, Ali Ghassan Al-Zobaede is a classically trained painter. He was an instructor at Babel University and Al-Koufa University in Iraq. He is the co-founder of the 'Free Atelier Group.' Ali has worked with theatre companies in Iraq to design and build set designs. Ali teaches private lessons in painting and drawing. At ASLD, he teaches workshops in sculpture, painting and drawing.
