In this workshop, we’ll explore the strange and fascinating world of optical illusion through drawing, pattern, and perception. Using simple materials and visual tricks, participants will create imagery that shifts, vibrates, bends, or appears to move. We’ll look at how contrast, repetition, line, scale, and color can confuse the eye and challenge what we think we see.

This class is open to all experience levels. Participants will leave with a series of studies and finished pieces that explore illusion and perception.
