Inspired by the Warm & Fuzzy exhibition, this hands-on workshop invites you to explore softness, texture, and form through felt and wire.

Over the course of four hours, you’ll learn the basics of felting to create small tactile forms—soft beads, organic shapes, or abstract “baubles”—and how to combine them with wire to transform your pieces into wearable jewelry or small sculptural objects.

This workshop is open to all skill levels and designed to be both playful and approachable. You’ll be guided through simple techniques for shaping wool, building structure with wire, and connecting elements into a cohesive piece. Whether you’re drawn to making something cozy and whimsical or more refined and minimal, there’s plenty of room for experimentation.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with one or more finished pieces and the foundational skills to continue exploring felt and wire on your own.
