Reaching into your inner child: hand sewn stuffies - Intergenerational

Intergenerational | Registration opens 11/3/2026 10:00 AM MDT

In this whimsical and welcoming hand sewing class, children and adults will tap into their creativity and learn to bring playful characters to life as stuffed creatures—or “imaginary friends.” Whether your creation is cute, quirky, spooky, or entirely abstract, this class offers the skills and space to turn imagination into a huggable piece of soft sculpture. This class welcomes adults and children to play together, learn together, and create together being open for parents, gaurdians, grandparents, children, siblings, together or individually.
Students will learn basic hand sewing techniques, including stitch types, pattern making, fabric selection, and 3D construction. No sewing experience is necessary—just a willingness to play, experiment, and learn! This class is perfect for artists, storytellers, makers, and anyone looking to explore soft sculpture and creative expression in a low-pressure environment.

  • *This is an intergenerational workshop: 1 parent/guardian + child must both be registered.
