Personal Stories in Collage

We'll focus on effective ways to tell stories visually through thoughtful arrangement of parts in collage with a variety of short exercises. Students will use various collage techniques, tools, and materials in the creation of a personal piece based on a memory, travel experience, or narrative.
- All materials are furnished, however students may want to bring personal memorabilia like letters, pictures, or decorative papers that they have on hand.
Deb Rosenbaum
A Denver native, Deb is a multi-media artist with extensive art instruction experience including fifteen years as Visual Arts Director at Denver School of the Arts and nine years at ASLD. Her humorous and quirky work in paint, collage, prints, and sculpture reflects her passion for storytelling and collecting, combining disparate materials. She is a former ASLD Board member.
