Technique/movement from the vibrant culture of Hip Hop. For tweens/teens with varying levels of experience and/or physical/developmental abilities. Learn together in a space where personal uniqueness is celebrated. Engage in social-emotional learning and develop skills through free-styling and choreography. No one-on-one supervision is provided.

  • Sneakers are recommended but not required.
Jackson, Kechelle

Kechelle Jackson (she/her), a Seattle native, has a background in dance, sports, and music, which led to an enriching career in youth services and Early Childhood Education. In 2013 Kechelle joined the faculty of CDC after training with Anne Green Gilbert. At CDC she pursues her passion of working together with learning communities, young children, and families, to foster and enhance social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. In 2013 Kechelle founded Emerald City Creative Arts (ECCA) a unique program that specializes in providing quality experiences for young children using BCDE and BrainDance to provide movement enrichment in schools across the Greater Seattle area.
