Join Anne Green Gilbert, Terry Goetz, Dionne Kamara, and Anna Mansbridge for a virtual Fall Dance Institute for Teachers on Brain-Compatible Dance Education and the BrainDance. Planning successful dance classes that are brain-based is straightforward, creative, and fun when you use a five-part lesson plan, focus on the dance concepts of Space, Time, Force and Body, and utilize principles of brain-compatible teaching. Through movement and discussion, this course will provide teachers with tools to create meaningful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate dance curricula for all ages and abilities, in person and online. Participants will gain an understanding of how BCDE successfully translates into online synchronous and asynchronous learning.

The textbook "Brain-Compatible Dance Education 2nd edition (2019)" by Anne Green Gilbert is required for FDIT. Order online at bit.ly/BCDEBook
