Jazz + Pop is a high-energy class exploring jazz, pop, lyrical, and contemporary dance styles. Age appropriate and kid friendly, dancers learn dance skills from these genres in a warm and positive environment. Exploring dance concepts through improvisation supports self-expression and creativity. Develop rhythmic, body, and spatial awareness in this upbeat and fun class!

Creative Dance Center COVID-19 health and safety protocols include but are not limited to: masks required for students and guardians ages 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status, to enter the building, during class, and at drop off and pick up; required Assumption of Risk/Health Screening/Release of Liability Form must be filled out for all students before each session; only staff, faculty, and students are allowed to stay in the building during class; required vaccine verification form must be completed for all people age 12 and older who are entering the building; if you and/or your student age 12+ cannot provide proof of full vaccination, a negative COVID-19 lab administered test taken within 72 hours needs to be provided before entering the building (King County mandate). For a full list of Covid-19 protocols visit creativedance.org/classes-workshops/#covid-19.

  • Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.
Bierly, Tiffany

Tiffany Bierly (she/her) is a Seattle-based educator, choreographer and performer, with an MFA in Dance from Texas Woman’s University as well as a BA in Theater and a BS in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University. Over the past eleven years, she has instructed dance and fitness classes at various universities, studios, and senior centers. Tiffany has performed in works by Elisha Clark Halpin, Christie Bonade, Sarah Gamblin, and in dance films directed by Jordan Fuchs, Melissa Sanderson and Yea Jean Choi. Since relocating to Seattle, Tiffany has danced for Melissa Sanderson, Emily Curtiss, Peter Kohring, Leah Russell, LanDforms Dance, and Gedney Barclay. Additionally, she is the ‘tiff’ part of tiffana, a collaborative duo with Ana Puzycki. tiffana has presented work in ‘Monomyth I’ and 'Soft Concrete I.'
