Experience a magical hour of joyful dance and connection with your toddler. Learn the BrainDance, explore dance concepts, play with multi-sensory props and instruments, and celebrate as your toddler develops confidence in their body. Our brain-compatible approach nurtures cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development while encouraging imagination and creativity! If you will be dancing with more than one child, you need to register all children for the class. We offer a 50% discount for the second child registered in a family. Creative Dance Center COVID-19 health and safety protocols include but are not limited to: masks required for students and guardians ages 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status, to enter the building, during class, and at drop off and pick up; required Assumption of Risk/Health Screening/Release of Liability Form must be filled out for all students before each session; only staff, faculty, and students are allowed to stay in the building during class; required vaccine verification form must be completed for all people age 12 and older who are entering the building; if you and/or your student age 12+ cannot provide proof of full vaccination, a negative COVID-19 lab administered test taken within 72 hours needs to be provided before entering the building (King County mandate). For a full list of Covid-19 protocols visit creativedance.org/classes-workshops/#covid-19.

Hughes, Annie

Annie Garlick Hughes (she/her) holds a degree in Dance Education from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. She has been teaching dance for over 15 years in studios, public schools, and community programs. Annie has danced with Artsbridge, Kinnect, Dancesemble and Contemporary Dance Theater (CDT), and has performed in India, China, and around the US. She believes that dance is a vehicle to greater enrichment regardless of age or experience. She loves to see children discover their creativity, decision making skills, and self expression through movement.
