Bring to life enchanting story ballets such as Cinderella, The Firebird, Sleeping Beauty, Coppélia, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker. Joyfully and creatively explore ballet skills in an age-appropriate, dance-concept based ballet class each day! Meet the characters in these well-loved ballets and dance to the glorious music of Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Delibes, and more. Read the stories and create props and crafts to accompany our magical dances!


If CDC guidelines and COVID protocols allow, dancers will share their creativity with family in an informal presentation on the last day of camp.

This info page will be updated as policy changes occur, and detailed information for Summer Session health and safety procedures will be emailed to registered students before the start of camps and classes. Creative Dance Center follows or exceeds all state, county, and CDC COVID-19 guidelines.

  • Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.
Oie, Amanda

Amanda Oie (she/her) is from Seattle, WA and received her BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts. She has danced with ARC Dance Company, Walrus Dance Company, Maureen Whiting Dance Company, Wade Madsen, Vivian Little, and Daniel Linehan. Her choreography has been presented at On The Boards' 12 Minutes Max, Velocity Dance Center and Northwest Film Forum. As a teacher she is excited to inspire students to find their love and passion for dance and discover expression and technique through the joy of movement.
