Art in Motion explores dance and art through the works of visionary artists. Every day we discover a new artist, immersing ourselves in their unique style and voice. Creative dance class includes time for dance-making inspired by our daily artist. Art in Motion engages creativity and expression through kinesthetic and visual/spatial learning experiences, fusing the worlds of dance and visual art!

Artists including Lorna Simpson, Alexander Calder, Romare Bearden, Paul Klee, and Louise Nevelson will inspire our creations! Paint shirts are provided, but come prepared to work with paint and other messy art. If CDC guidelines and COVID protocols allow, camp will conclude with an inspiring art walk and movement presentation for friends and family.
