A holistic ballet class (includes barre and center work) where the dance concepts are used to deepen learning and foster self-expression. Individual, partner, and small group improvisations support social-emotional learning. Students develop composition skills by creating their own dances.

There IS space available in this class! CDC offers rolling admission, so you may register at any point during the session for any class that is not full. Classes may be prorated after the 3rd week of the session. A $15 prorate fee will be assessed. In order to register after the 3rd week of the session, you must contact registrar@creativedance.orgYou will then be sent a link to register at the discounted rate.

  • Clothing: Dance clothes such as leotards, tights, leggings, dance skirts/shorts worn over leotard and tights, sweatpants, shorts. Hair should be pulled back from the face. Ballet shoes required.
Moore, Robbi

Robbi A. Moore (they/them), from Hamden, CT, began dancing at New England Ballet and continued at Dee Dee’s Dance Center and New Haven Ballet. They are an alumnus of Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, the Ailey Summer Intensive, Cunningham Trust Workshop, Jacob’s Pillow’s Commercial Dance Program, and the Complexions Intensive. Robbi graduated magna cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program and has danced with Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre, The Steps Repertory Ensemble, AATMA Performing Arts, Whidbey Island Dance Theatre, Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center, Karin Stevens Dance, the Guild Dance Company, Kinesis Project Dance Theater, The Gray, PRICEarts, Coriolis Dance, Trial and Error Productions, Khambatta Dance Company, VCBynum Arts and Education, and Spectrum Dance Theater. Robbi recently worked for The Village Theatre as Associate Choreographer for “Little Shop of Horrors” and Ballyhoo Theatre's production of "Shapeshifters."
