Stories come to life as we spark imagination and movement using the rich language and art of children’s literature. Books jump off the page as students explore character and plot using the elements of dance and make art projects inspired by our reading and story-making. Each dancer contributes creativity to the pot to stir up an Original Dancing Story that gets written throughout the week! Dancers and artists share their creativity with family in an informal presentation on the last day of camp.

  • Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.
  • Want to extend your camp day? Campers can join Hip Hop Camp 10:00am-12:30pm July 22-26 for a full day of fun with a discount! Register for Hip Hop on our website and use Coupon Code CampFun40 to receive a $40 discount on the second camp (coupon only eligible when combining camps in the same week for the same student).

Full day campers will eat lunch in our waiting room with teacher supervision during the break from 12:30-1:00pm.
