Do you love to sing as much as Poppy does? Maybe you just can’t stop yourself from dancing when the right song comes on. Well, Trolls musical theatre camp is the one for you! Let’s Band Together and celebrate our ‘True Colors,’ by creating some high energy dances. We’ll build fun props, design our own Troll avatars, and (obviously) do a TON of singing!

  • Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.

    Full day campers will eat lunch in our waiting room with teacher supervision during the break from 12:30-1:00pm.

Hutchison, Carly Squires

Carly Squires Hutchison (she/her) has taught musical theatre camps at CDC since 2017. She attended the Summer Dance Institute for Teachers training in Brain-Compatible Dance Education in 2018. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and Minor in Dance Performance from Central Washington University. Carly is a full-time teaching artist, director/choreographer, and performer. She teaches dance and musical theater locally at Creative Dance Center, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and Village Theatre KIDSTAGE. Carly has directed and choreographed many musicals around town, and some of her favorites are Willy Wonka JR., Seussical KIDS, The Drowsy Chaperone, 42nd Street, and The Addams Family.
