Let’s flip the script and see things through the Villains' eyes in Descendants musical theatre camp! This fun, and slightly sinister, show pulls from fairytales, books, and all things magic with some of your favorite characters. Come explore what’s good and evil through song and dance, build villainous props, and design and create your own costume in this 5-day magical musical camp.

  • Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.
Hutchison, Carly Squires

Carly Squires Hutchison (she/her) has taught musical theatre camps at CDC since 2017. She attended the Summer Dance Institute for Teachers training in Brain-Compatible Dance Education in 2018. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and Minor in Dance Performance from Central Washington University. Carly is a full-time teaching artist, director/choreographer, and performer. She teaches dance and musical theater locally at Creative Dance Center, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and Village Theatre KIDSTAGE. Carly has directed and choreographed many musicals around town, and some of her favorites are Willy Wonka JR., Seussical KIDS, The Drowsy Chaperone, 42nd Street, and The Addams Family.
