Experience a magical hour of joyful dance, connection, and learning with your child. Learn the BrainDance, explore dance concepts, play with multi-sensory props and instruments, and practice movement skills through guided dances and obstacle courses. Our brain-compatible approach nurtures cognitive, social-emotional, and kinesthetic development while encouraging imagination and creativity! 

Ask about our Family Discount!   If you will be dancing with more than one child, you need to register all children for the class. We offer a 25% discount for additional siblings registered in a family. Siblings 8 months old and older must be registered as a student and receive the 25% discount. Please contact our Registrar BEFORE you register at registrar@creativedance.org for the COUPON CODE to use at checkout to get the Family Dance Discount for multiple children.

Goetz, Terry
Terry Goetz

Terry Goetz (she/her) is Director of the Creative Dance Center. She began training with CDC Founder Anne Green Gilbert in 1997 and joined the CDC faculty in 2000. A former member of Pacific Northwest Ballet (1988-1995) and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (1986-1988), she performed works by Balanchine, Taylor, Limón, Lubovitch, Dendy, Cunningham, Naharin, Petipa, and Bournonville, as well as full-length classical works. Along with teaching dance across ages and genres at CDC, Terry presents workshops locally, nationally, and internationally in BrainDance and Brain-Compatible Dance Education. In 2015 Terry was honored as Dance Educator of the Year at the Dance Educators Association of Washington Conference. This annual award is presented to dance educators working in the state of Washington who exemplify excellence in dance education.
