BrainDance Variations with Terry Goetz

Workshop | Available

Building on our BrainDance Foundations and BrainDance: Early Childhood & Primary Grades workshops, and/or prior knowledge of BrainDance, participants will have the opportunity to explore many ways of adapting the BrainDance. Bringing novelty into your BrainDances activates dopamine, enhances motivation, and sparks creativity. Neural connections are strengthened as the brain works to process new information. We will explore how integrating the elements of dance (Space, Time, Force, Body), and the use of different props, music choices, folk dances, and relationships keep the brain and body stimulated and challenged.

Variations for all ages and abilities will be shared – toddlers to elders. Whether you teach in a classroom, community setting, gym or dance studio, or BrainDance at home, you will come away with creative and fresh approaches to keep the BrainDance enlivened and engaging!

Limited tuition assistance available for dance teachers and educators whose employers do not provide Professional Development funding. Email info@creativedance.org for more information.
