Bring to life enchanting story ballets such as Cinderella, The Firebird, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker. Joyfully and creatively explore ballet skills in an age-appropriate, dance-concept based ballet class each day! Meet the characters in these well-loved ballets and dance to the glorious music of Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Delibes, and more. Read the stories and create props and crafts to accompany our magical dances! Dancers and artists share their creativity with family in an informal presentation on the last day of camp.
Early Bird Special: $325 if you register before March 1.
After March 1: $365
Tuition includes $40 non-refundable registration fee.
Cancellation Policy: CDC Administration must be notified 2 weeks prior to the start of your camp to receive a refund, minus non-refundable registration fee. No refunds given less than 2 weeks before camp. However, tuition may be used as a credit to a future class or camp.
- • Looking for a full day camp? Campers can join “Shake it Off: Dance the Eras” 9:30am-12:30pm August 4 to 8 for a full day of fun! CLICK HERE to register for the full-day camp at a discounted rate.
Full-day camp includes lunchtime care between 12:30-1:00pm at no extra charge! Campers will bring lunch and eat in our waiting room with supervision, followed by activities if time permits.
• Financial aid available based on need. This is a limited community resource supported in part by individual donors. Click here to complete our online financial aid application. An application must be received by CDC before you register.
• Payment Plans available. This flexible option allows families to split their balance into two installments. No application is required, but a payment plan must be arranged in advance by contacting registrar@creativedance.org. Placement in the camp is not ensured until your first payment is received.
- Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.
Olivia Evans
Olivia Evans (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator. She grew up training primarily in classical ballet and attended the Training Program with Alonzo King LINES Ballet in San Francisco from 2021-23. Upon graduation, she worked as a teaching artist with LINES Community Programs, the Teens at LINES Program, and SF Arts Education Project. Olivia has developed a teaching practice rooted in both unique creative expression and strong physical and mental technique. She works to facilitate playful, open spaces where her students can support each other in investigating their curiosities. Olivia feels that students of any age and experience should feel empowered to embrace their artistic individuality.
