Day 1: Bringing Stability, Mobility, and Balance into Your Life: A Lively, Contemporary Approach to the Alexander Technique (Saturday)

Workshop | Available

To function well through our lives, we need to be both stable and mobile, physically and mentally. “Still, like a mountain. Moving, as a river”, as it says in the Tai Chi Classics. In this practical workshop, Bruce will teach us simple, effective practices that make us, at once, sturdy and supple. As we become both stable and sturdy, soft and supple, our balance becomes finer, which makes us feel calm, composed, dignified. After 62 years of teaching people how to move well, Bruce’s work is strikingly clear, deep, and far-reaching.

This workshop starts at 10:00 am and takes a break for lunch at 1:00 pm. The workshop resumes at 2:30 pm and runs until 5:00 pm.
