Join us for a full day of camp with “Musical Theatre: Annie” camp in the morning and “KPop Demon Hunters” in the afternoon! Full-day camp includes lunchtime care between 12:30-1:00pm at no extra charge! 

Musical Theatre: Annie (9:30am-12:30pm)
Bet your bottom dollar this camp is bursting with sunshine! Step into the world of Annie and bring this beloved musical to life through singing, dancing, and creative storytelling. We’ll explore character, setting, and scene-building as we dive into favorites like “Hard Knock Life” and “The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow.” Along the way, campers will build confidence and discover the joy of working together as an ensemble.

KPop Demon Hunters (1:00-4:00pm)
We bring K-Pop Demon Hunters out of the screen and into the studio in this exciting camp! Enter a bold world where heroes rise through music, storytelling, dance, and song. Explore themes of friendship, identity, and triumph through high-energy choreography, creative projects, and artistic adventures that will have campers feeling unstoppable. Each day celebrates the thrill of finding your voice—moving together as a golden ensemble, rising up, up, up in shared moments of courage and confidence!

Tuition includes $40 non-refundable registration fee.     

Cancellation Policy: CDC Administration must be notified 2 weeks prior to the start of your camp to receive a refund, minus non-refundable registration fee. No refunds given less than 2 weeks before camp.

    Financial aid available based on need. This is a limited community resource supported in part by individual donors. Click here to complete our online financial aid application. An application must be received by CDC before you register. 
    Payment Plans available. This flexible option allows families to split their balance into two installments. No application is required, but a payment plan must be arranged in advance by contacting registrar@creativedance.org. Placement in the camp is not ensured until your first payment is received.
  • Clothing: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet.

    Food: Full-day campers, bring 2 nut-free snacks and a nut-free lunch to eat in our waiting room with supervision, followed by activities if time permits.
Nowack, Maia
Maia Nowack

Maia Nowack (they/them) grew up in Seattle. They graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Theatre and minor in dance, where they discovered their love for teaching. Maia has an MA in Dance Pedagogy from the University of the Arts in Helsinki, Finland, where they were also fortunate enough to create and participate in collaborative performance projects with local artists and students. They have experience teaching dance, movement, and drama to students of all ages, including teaching in diverse settings for Seattle Children's Theatre. Maia is passionate about creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where students can expand their creativity!

Franzella, Sophia
Sophia Franzella

Sophia Franzella (she/her) is a teaching artist, actor, director, and choreographer based in Seattle! After dancing in ballet studios for most of her childhood, she transitioned to the world of Theatre in high school. Sophia earned her BA in Theatre Performance from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas in 2013. She is also a 2014 graduate of A Working Group (a Meisner-technique acting program). She most recently trained with the UK physical theatre company Frantic Assembly, and in August 2025, she completed the Summer Dance Institute for Teachers with the Creative Dance Center!

Sophia has taught acting and dance throughout Seattle over the past ten years and also offers private acting and audition preparation. She received a Gregory Award nomination for Best Director for her work on EMMA with Dacha Theatre in 2025. She is a co-founder and company member of the theatre lab Filament: A Collab Lab.
