In part 3 of our exploration of the Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks mini-series, we will finish “The Pacific” and will start the “Masters of the Air” mini-series. The Pacific follows the trials and tribulations of three US Marines from the 1st Marine Division as they fight across the Pacific.

We started this series during the OLLI summer session, but attendance then is not mandatory to enjoy this class! Masters of the Air is also a Spielberg/Hanks mini-series that recounts the story of the 100th Bomb Group in World War II and follows bomber crews on dangerous missions to destroy targets inside German-occupied Europe.

Join us as we explore the horrendous experiences of the men and women in World War II.
