Yoga on a Chair allows people of all physical fitness levels to take full advantage of yoga’s amazing health benefits including relaxation and a feeling of well-being. Yoga has been shown to be of value to decrease stress, stretch muscles for flexibility, strengthen muscles, improve posture and improve balance. The “chair-asanas” provide adaptations for all levels of flexibility and uses breath, affirmation, visualization, and imagery as relaxation and mindfulness techniques. This Yoga also incorporates energy medicine exercises based on the Eden Energy Medicine model of Donna Eden.
