Mindful Movement: Qigong and Stretching

Join OLLI members from across the nation in this online class, designed to help students develop or improve a daily movement program. This is an introduction to Qigong, T’ai Chi and Somatic Meditation. Movements will be taught both as physical and energetic exercises and as methods for improving present moment awareness and mindfulness. Students will practice outside of class. There will be printable handouts to support you, links to YouTube videos and an optional DVD available from the instructor (not included in cost of course). This live class (via ZOOM) will include time for questions and social time. Participants must be able to lie down and get up from the floor and be able to move about comfortably in a home space while watching Zoom.
