S25-28 Classical Painting/Mixed Media NEW

Class | Registration opens 3/9/2025 9:00 AM EST

We will be painting in oil and/or acrylic paints (your choice) with pastels, molding paste, gold leaf, etc.

In our classes, we will discuss basic composition, color theory, color mixing, glazing and other various techniques with a touch of art history. The Instructor will demonstrate and do some in-painting to help students understand the various techniques.

We do all this as we paint our projects, in a non-competitive and relaxed environment, to enhance your creativity. Bring 2 reference pictures to paint. Pick what you are interested in.

In our first class, we will  do a small painting on canvas board to get the feel of acrylic paint. I will bring the canvas boards. Student provides his/her own supplies. We will go over supplies at the first class.
