F25-45 Autumn in Northeast Ohio NEW
Class | Registration opens 8/17/2025 9:00 AM EDT
Join Cleveland Metropark's naturalist Lys Ursem for a fascinating course on all that is northeast Ohio in autumn. Throughout the classes we will cover anything from plants to fungi to land features; along the way discover how all of these things adapt to the changing seasons and how we can predict what is to come next.
Lys Ursem
Lys Ursem spends her days as a Cleveland Metroparks Naturalist educating the public about Ohio's flora and fauna, overseeing the gardens around Rocky River Nature Center, and launching a volunteer-run wildflower phenology survey. In her free time, she likes to play boardgames, go rock climbing, and go birdwatch. She and her dog, Goose, can be found hiking in the parks on her days off.
