This course will review how the ancient civilizations of classical Greece and Rome in wars and revolutions rejected monarchy and established democratic and republican systems. Those regimes in turn collapsed as they built international empires, which in turn declined and fell.

His publications include A Concise Survey of Western Civilization: Supremacies and Diversities Throughout History (4th Edition), Game of Thrones Versus History: Written in Blood, and Witch Hunts in the Western World. He currently serves as a priest in The Episcopal Church. He has studied and lived in Germany and Austria and currently resides in Berea.
