"I Remember Mama" - Iconic Mothers from the World of Film and Television NEW
Class | Registration opens 3/8/2026 9:00 AM EST
Mothers have been a powerful element to the story arcs throughout television and film history. This class will be a great overview of Moms in the movies—from Mother, Ma, Mama and Mommie to Auntie, Nanny, Mammy and more. You will meet the Sad Moms, the Eccentric Showbiz Moms, the All-American moms, along with Battling Mothers who will do anything to protect their kids. We will meet them in every category, from comedy to romance to drama to crime to animation to horror, from the lowest-budget indie to the biggest-budget prestige film. These moms made us laugh, cry, remember and reflect, as we spent time with them in their kitchens and living rooms, feeling like part of the family.
