A worldly view of the Medieval Era, including shifts to Christianity, the rise of universities, Gothic architecture and the flourishing of art and literature, along with a hierarchical structure of lords, vassals and serfs shaping social and political life. We’ll also discuss the myths, sagas and legends of Norse gods and heroes reflecting the beliefs of the Viking Age.
Michael Laurenty
Michael Laurenty is a retired United States Navy veteran and currently teaches courses in College Composition and Graphic Novels in the English Department at Cleveland State University. He is a playwright, author, musician, avid game player and ardent Lego builder. He is also a Doctor of Naturopathy, has earned an MFA in creative writing and is a Licensed Massage Therapist.
