Leonard Muni

Len Muni has dedicated his career to education, science, and outdoor learning. A graduate of John Carroll University, he earned both a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in school administration. Before entering education, Len worked as an engineer at two local television stations, combining his love of science and technology. He then spent more than 35 years teaching in the Berea City School District, following an earlier year at St. Josaphat School. Throughout his career, he taught students from elementary through high school in subjects ranging from general science to astronomy. Len also directed the Berea Schools’ Camp Mi-Bro-Be outdoor education program and the district’s planetarium for many years. Beyond the classroom, he has long been involved with the Oglebay Institute camps, where he teaches astronomy and nature studies. He especially enjoys sharing music around the campfire, accompanying songs on his guitar.
