Join Christopher Gillcrist on an exploration of many different experiences about our Great Lakes. From environmental history to true crime, from air wrecks to shipwrecks, from the red carpet to Santa's red sleigh, Gillcrist, the Director Emeritus of the National Museum of the Great Lakes, does it all.

Christopher Gillcrist
Christopher Gillcrist is Director Emeritus of the National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo, Ohio, after having served as Executive Director for 24 years. He has a BA and MA in History from John Carroll University and advanced studies in Social Policy from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to joining the National Museum of the Great Lakes, he served as Executive Director of the Lake County Historical Society and began his career in higher education as an Associate Professor of History at Notre Dame College of Ohio and Instructor of History at Ursuline College. In 2026, he founded CHG Consulting LLC, an all-purpose museum and not-for-profit consulting firm.
