Class | Registration opens 12/6/2026 9:00 AM EDT
Eighty years after the end of the Korean War, American troops are still stationed in South Korea while North Korea remains a dark and threatening presence in Asia. This course will examine the path that led to North Korea’s invasion of the south in June 1950, the reasons for America’s intervention, the military struggle and how that conflict set the stage for five decades of Cold War and eight decades of American military presence in Asia.
