Nanotechnology is the use of manipulation of individual atoms and molecules for new technologies to better our future. In addition to a broad overview, the presentation will include the new properties, innovations and applications, especially medical technology for drugs and cancer.

Dr. Baja Ramjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Old Dominion University, Bala Ramjee graduated with a Master of Science, then a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. His postdoctoral work was at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before joining Old Dominion University as an Assistant Professor in 2007, with his research for many years in applications of the nanotechnology field.
