Saving the Red Age: Wild Orangutan Lives and Conservation
Class - In Person & Zoom | This event is completed
Wild orangutans are critically endangered in the wild, largely because their rainforest habitats are being lost to industry, human development, and climate change. Conservation efforts to save those orange apes include rescue and rehabilitation, promoting sustainable agriculture, and reducing habitat loss. We will go behind the scenes to introduce these complex apes, their history, and the research and conservation efforts for them.
