This lecture will clarify how we can understand current issues from the fields of sociology, the function of human society, and psychology, the study of human minds which affect behavior.

Andrea Palmisano was born and raised in Brazil. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and a master's in clinical psychology, and a mediation certification from the Virginia Supreme Court, where she serves as a general and family mediator. She is also a professor of psychology at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach.
