In this talk we will examine some of the major problems created by mass media, and what these mean for the future of society. Special attention will be given to how these problems will be amplified by Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Steven Emmanuel is the Dean of the Susan S. Goode School of Arts and Humanities at Virginia Wesleyan University. He received his Ph.D. from Brown University and a B.A. from Boston University. He was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Copenhagen from 1985-1986.
